Description
The Chonk Mini Mix is the brand's smart introduction product — a small ~500g pack that lets you (and more importantly, your cat) try Chonk without committing to a full 1.5kg bag. At BDT 199, it's one of the cheapest ways to test a new cat food in the BD market, and it's particularly useful for fussy cats whose owners have been burned by buying a full bag of something the cat ultimately refused.
The Mini Mix contains the same Chonk formulation as the full-size packs, just in a trial-friendly portion. Around two weeks of feeding for an average single cat — enough to genuinely see whether your cat accepts the food, whether their stool quality stays good on it, and whether their coat and energy hold up. If the answers are yes, you move to the 1.5kg or the 5x1.5kg MegaChonk pack for the best per-kilogram value.
We particularly recommend the Mini Mix for cat parents who have heard about Chonk but are sceptical about local manufacturing quality. Try it for 200 taka — you risk almost nothing, and most cats accept Chonk readily within the first few meals.
Key Ingredients
Same as full Chonk packs — chicken meal (or fish meal depending on variant), rice, corn, beet pulp, poultry oil, vitamin and mineral premix, taurine, omega-3 and omega-6, antioxidants.
Why It's Good For Your Pet
- Low-risk trial — at 199 taka, you risk almost nothing trying Chonk for the first time.
- Fussy-cat insurance — find out if your cat accepts Chonk before committing to a 1.5kg pack.
- Test stool and coat — two weeks is long enough to see how your cat does on the food.
- Easy upgrade — if the trial goes well, the same recipe scales up to 1.5kg, 5x1.5kg MegaChonk packs.
Honest Considerations
- Trial size only — not economical for ongoing feeding (move to 1.5kg or MegaChonk for value).
- Single variant per pack — to try both Chicken and Ocean Fish, you need to buy two Mini Mixes.
- Not enough food to fully assess long-term effects like coat improvement — those need a month-plus.
Feeding Guide
Use as a two-week trial. Feed roughly 40–60g per day for an average adult cat (split into two meals), and observe acceptance, stool quality and general condition. Transition gradually from your current food over five to seven days.
