Chonk is a proudly Bangladeshi brand — one of the first locally made dry cat foods — offering complete nutrition at a price imported brands structurally can't match.

Where Chonk comes from and what they make

Chonk is a genuinely homegrown Bangladeshi brand, and a significant one as one of the first locally manufactured dry cat foods produced within the country. The product is dry cat food, priced to undercut comparable imports.

Why Chonk stands out

The economics are real, not a gimmick. Imported cat food in Bangladesh carries roughly fifty percent total tax incidence once customs duty, VAT and other charges are added; raw materials for local manufacturing aren't taxed at that rate. So a domestically made brand like Chonk delivers everyday nutrition at a price imports cannot structurally match.

Chonk price and demand in Bangladesh

In a price-sensitive market, a credible local option has obvious appeal — for budget-conscious owners feeding multiple cats and for those who want to support Bangladeshi production. The Chonk price in Bangladesh is among the most affordable for complete dry cat food; the current Chonk cat food price per pack is shown on its product page at Adorer Pet.
