Chonk launched with Chicken as the original flavour, and the Ocean Fish variant followed once the brand had built a customer base. Same locally manufactured recipe, same German-lab-consulted formulation principles, same BDT 499 price for 1.5kg — but with real ocean fish as the primary protein instead of chicken.
Fish-based cat food is consistently popular in Bangladesh because it tends to be more aromatic and palatable than chicken, particularly for cats transitioning from cheaper fish-heavy foods. The Chonk Ocean Fish variant uses real fish meal as its primary protein source, supported by the same balanced carbohydrate, fat and micronutrient profile as the Chicken variant.
