Pellets should be the minority of a rabbit's diet — typically 1/4 cup per 2.5kg of body weight per day for adult rabbits, and unlimited for young rabbits still growing. The key is choosing high-quality plain pellets rather than muesli-style mixes with seeds, grains, and coloured pieces. Selective feeding in muesli mixes leads to nutritional imbalance, as rabbits invariably pick out the sugary, high-starch components.
Our rabbit pellet range focuses on high-fibre (minimum 18% crude fibre), plain pressed pellets in formulas for adult rabbits and junior rabbits. Junior pellets are higher in protein and calcium to support growth and are appropriate up to six months of age.
