The most important thing to know about rabbit housing is that the typical small pet-shop rabbit cage is woefully inadequate. Rabbits need to be able to complete at least three full hops in one direction and fully stand on their hind legs without their ears touching the ceiling. For most medium-sized rabbits, this means minimum 180cm length and 60cm height.
Our rabbit housing range includes appropriately sized indoor cages, traditional outdoor hutches (always paired with a run, as a hutch alone is insufficient), exercise runs and playpens for daily free-ranging time, and indoor free-roam setups using modular pen panels. Rabbits should have a minimum of 3–4 hours of exercise time outside their cage daily.
